The Aria is located opposite a park in Bondi Junction, and creates a positive presence on the street and the surrounding area through its dynamic, sculptured form.

The strong visual effect is achieved by the design of alternating, angled balconies that animate the north façade, especially when coupled with the interplay of light and shadow. The design of the north façade relies on carefully detailed concrete profiles rather than the use of applied finishes.

Designed with one apartment per floor to maximise privacy, solar access and ventilation to each apartment, the Aria is a fine example of a medium density, infill development that maintains the original lot size of the site. Activation of the street is enhanced through consolidating building entrances, balconies and window openings within the narrow frontage, without undue impacts on surrounding properties.
