Coogee Mixed Use

The site is located at the old Coogee Tennis Clubhouse site perched at the top of Bream Street overlooking the Tennis Courts.

The Building serves a number of functions namely a Gym, Childcare Centre, Tennis Club House and Swim School.

A base of recycled bricks anchor the building which is defined by solid and cantilevered forms.

The solid Copper form takes cues from the terracotta roofs of adjoining buildings, whilst a suspended concrete frame opens up the building towards the tennis Courts and views.

The building is viewed from many different perspectives given its location and the eclectic material pallete provide a differing visual experience from different viewpoints.
