Mosman House

Sited at the foreshore of Quakers Hat Bay in Mosman, this majestic house is nestled into the sloping terrain that falls from the street front to the landscaped gardens and boat jetty at the water’s edge.

Extensions to the existing house enhance its luxurious qualities and utilises its unique position by the bay. The client’s brief includes the provision of a car garage at the street front for up to three cars, with internal access to the house in lieu of the existing car port. A total of six bedrooms are also provided, with maid and study rooms, as well as an addition of a lift accessing all floor levels. The open plan design of the ground floor creates a seamless flow between kitchen, dining and living areas, with many of the rooms extending onto balconies presenting panoramic views over the water. The profile of the balconies stepping down towards the boat jetty allow rooms to fill with optimal light and reflect the outdoor boating lifestyle.
